Pampa Police Department employs 31 sworn officers to serve a population of approximately 20,000 citizens. We are a full service police organization made up of four divisions and three patrol districts. Part of our mission is to work with our community to prevent problems or to solve them before they negatively impact a person's quality of life. With this is mind, we are constantly striving to provide the most efficient police services possible.
Officers of the Pampa Police Department come from a variety of different backgrounds, but they all have a singular "Commitment to Excellence" which guides their activities. Officers receive continuous training and access to the latest technology so that they can better serve the citizens of Pampa.
Pampa Police Department is committed not only to law enforcement, but also to working with citizens to identify and solve problems within the community. The department as a whole has adopted the community oriented policing philosophy and works together with citizens to identify and solve problems which affect the citizens as well as the quality of life in Pampa. |
