Interim Police Chief Donny Brown

Commissioned with the Pampa Police Department in 1988. Prior to being appointed as Interim Chief he was serving as the Administrative Sergeant since 2007. Chief Brown graduated the Panhandle Regional Law Enforcement Academy in May 1987. He started his law enforcement career as the Chief of Police in Bovina, Texas. During his career, Brown has been assigned to a wide variety of duties as a patrol officer, supervisor and crime prevention specialist.

Chief Brown grew up in Pampa attending school in Pampa until graduation.

Brown's Personal Statement:

"DREAMS DO COME TRUE" as I can attest to that. As a child all I wanted to be was a police officer. When I would see an officer on the street I would admire the uniform. Life is too short to not go for your dreams.
