A MESSAGE FROM CHIEF OF POLICE TREVLYN PITNER:
The Pampa Police Department has consistently worked to provide the community with the highest possible level of police and public safety services. Consequently, the City experiences an extremely low violent crime rate allowing our residents to enjoy a safe, wholesome community in which to work, live and raise their families. The men and women of this Department are dedicated professionals and I am proud of each and every one of them and our community that we serve. In today's uncertain times, one of our goals is to continually educate and train ourselves for the future. We are also a very well equipped, full service Department that can respond to any public safety emergency quickly.
It is the mission of the Pampa Police Department team to serve the people of our community with respect, fairness, and compassion. We are committed to protection of life and property, the preservation of public order, crime prevention, enforcement of laws and ordinances, and protecting the constitutional rights of all persons.
With customer service as our focus, we are committed to investigating problems as well as incidents, seeking solutions and fostering a sense of security for our citizens and our community. We hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of performance, ethics, and character thus earning public trust.

As chief, I would encourage you to take a few moments to view our department and explore a few of our programs and other "goings-on".
