Pampa Patrol Officers provide around-the-clock preventive patrol, calls for service, traffic accident investigation and enforcement of federal, state and local laws. Patrol is responsible for initial crime investigation and protection of Pampa citizens.

Lieutenant Kenneth Hopson
Commissioned with the Pampa Police Department in 1979. He has been serving as the Patrol Division Commander since 1988.

The Patrol division is currently comprised of one Lieutenant, three Sergeants, eleven patrol officers, one School Resource Officer and 10 Reserve Officers. |
Reserve Officers, in most cases, perform the same duties as a regular officer. Reserve officers are non-paid and required a minimum of 16 hours of duty per month.
