For Immediate Release:
Keen eye of Store Manager results in two arrests in connection to the City of Pampa Landfill Burglary.
On 12/10/2007 a Burglary was reported at the City of Pampa Landfill Offices located off of Loop 171 east of Pampa. Several items including a security safe and City of Pampa credit card were stolen. The suspects cut the barbed wire fence north of the main gate and entered the property with a vehicle. Once on the property they went to the office building and forcibly entered through a back door.
On 12/13/2007 Officer's were dispatched to Wal-Mart at 2801 Charles in regards to someone attempting to use a credit card that had been reported stolen in the burglary. Upon officer's arrival Bryan Humphrey age 19 of Pampa was arrested and charged with Credit Card Abuse.
On 12/18/2007 Detectives arrested Ryan Wohlford, age 22 of Pampa was arrested in connection to the Credit Card Abuse.
Both Humphrey and Wohlford are expected to be charged in the actual Burglary later in the week.
Detectives continue investigating the incident.
