“Taggers” hit downtown area      

Over the past three weeks vandals have hit the downtown area with graffiti. Several business's have reported that the “artist” have written in spray paint in both front and back of the business's. Business owners estimate that cleaning up the paint will cost well into the thousands to remove it from the buildings. Investigators are continuing to search for any information anyone may have related to this crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pampa / Gray County Crime Stoppers at 806-669-2222. If your information leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or person(s) responsible for this crime you could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00.

“Tagging” cost the entire community. It not only cost in insurance cost but the business owners have no choice but to inflate their prices to compensate for their cost. Not to mention it makes the area look bad.
