Assault Sends One to Hospital

PAMPA , TEXAS –

On Sunday June 1, 2008 at around 8:30 A.M. officers were dispatch to Pampa Regional Medical Center in regards to a reported assault. Officers arrived at the emergency room where they met with the victim Lisa Hernandez age 23 of Pampa. Hernandez told officers that the night before (Saturday, May 31, 2008) at about 11:00 P.M., she and her boyfriend Patrick Derlle Mize age 29 of Pampa got into an argument at the residence in the 400 block of north Roberta. During the incidents it is believed that Mize may have struck Hernandez head against the concrete porch at the residence and punched her in the face at least once. The case is still under investigation.
