PAMPA PD INVESTIGATING REPORTED BOTCHED ROBBERY

PAMPA , TEXAS –

On Wednesday, August 20, 2008 officers responded to a 911 call of a man with a gun inside the Hoagies Deli located at 1201 N. Hobart in the Coronado Shopping Center. Officers believe that an unidentified male, unknown ethnicity entered the unlocked rear door of the business after regular business hours. An employee was inside cleaning at the time. The employee was startled by the male who was dressed in dark clothing, gloves, a mask and wielding a handgun. The employee ran to the restroom and locked the door and called 911. When officers arrived they found the employee in the restroom visibly shaken. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The employee's name is being withheld at this time for fear of retaliation.
