Pampa PD Investigating Homicide

PAMPA , TEXAS –

At this time officers continue to investigate a homicide that occurred on Friday 9/19/2008. At around 4:19 P.M. Officers were dispatched to 731 E. Brunow in regards to a stabbing victim. Upon arrival officers were meet by EMS personnel who directed the officers to the east side of the residence. Officer found Luis G. Acosta age 48 of 939 Brunow laying face down in the yard with what appeared to be several stab wounds to the upper portion of the body. The suspect, Ronnie G. Carter age 45 of 731 Brunow, was taken into custody and charged with homicide. He was transported to Gray County Jail where he is currently being held on a $1 million dollar bond.
